Officers and Board Members

Nicole H. King is an associate of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP. Ms. King graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Ms. King is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, and has been admitted to the United States Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. King is currently the HSBLA Treasurer, a member of the PBA Minority Bar Committee and a member of the Girl Scouts – Trillium Council Board of Directors.

Barbara Griffin is the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She is a 1985 graduate of Georgetown University and earned her law degree in 1991 from the University of Texas, where she was an Executive Editor of the Texas Law Review.

In addition to having been in private practice, Ms. Griffin served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and as law clerk to the Honorable Gene Strassburger, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Eric Cottle is a 1985 graduate of Adelphi University and earned his law degree from the Duguesne University School of Law in 1996. Attorney Cottle is an associate in the law firm of Meyer Darragh Buckler Bebenek & Eck, P.L.L.C. He is a member of the ACBA Young Lawyers Section Council, where he serves on the Membership Services Committee. In addition, he serves as a volunteer for Neighborhood Legal Services Protection From Abuse and Landlord/Tenant programs and mentor to the Youth Peoples Church of the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church in East Liberty.
